This role offers the opportunity to build real-time, personalized customer journeys using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). You will take ownership across the journey lifecycle, from initial concept and configuration through launch, optimization, and ongoing performance monitoring. Working closely with marketing, analytics, data science, and channel teams, you will translate business objectives into engaging, data-driven experiences. Your work will help improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes across digital and offline channels. You will also contribute to platform governance, quality standards, and continuous improvement. As a subject matter expert, you will help strengthen team capabilities and promote effective use of journey orchestration technologies.

Accountabilities
  • Develop dynamic, personalized email content and templates within Adobe Journey Optimizer.

  • Configure, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously optimize personalized journeys and campaigns based on business requirements.

  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to build, refine, and validate audience segments in Adobe Experience Platform using behavioral signals and customer profile attributes.

  • Partner with lifecycle marketers, data scientists, and channel leads to translate business strategies into effective journey logic and targeting approaches.

  • Perform rigorous quality assurance across journey components, including events, wait steps, personalization rules, decision logic, and cross-channel triggers.

  • Monitor journey execution and performance, troubleshoot issues, and work with analytics teams to improve logic and outcomes.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on AEP and AJO capabilities while supporting knowledge sharing and upskilling across the team.

  • Contribute to platform governance, technical best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in journey orchestration.

  • Ensure personalized journeys are accurate, compliant, reliable, and effective across relevant customer touchpoints.

  • Champion innovation in marketing operations and customer experience through hands-on platform stewardship and optimization.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, digital campaign execution, or a related discipline.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring journeys with Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Practical experience developing email content using HTML and CSS.

  • Exposure to JSON, event payloads, APIs, or API-driven personalization.

  • Strong understanding of customer journey logic, event triggers, decision orchestration, segmentation, and personalization.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Adobe certifications related to AEP or AJO are preferred.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Real-Time CDP, XDM schemas, or event tagging is a plus.

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as healthcare or financial services, is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of Next-Best-Action personalization frameworks is a plus.

  • For remote work, a dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions is required to protect sensitive information. Reliable home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is also required.

  • Occasional travel to company offices for training or meetings may be required.

Benefits
  • Annual base salary of $94,900–$130,500, depending on location, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.

  • Eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.

  • Fully remote work opportunity across the United States.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.

  • Paid time off, company holidays, and personal holidays.

  • Paid parental and caregiver leave.

  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.

  • Life insurance.

  • Additional programs and resources supporting personal wellness, healthcare decisions, and whole-person well-being.

  • Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
