SUMMARY: Picks and packs orders for shipping to customers and receives and stocks inventory.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Performs all aspects of packing orders:
      Box assemblyFilling box with items per order, scanning each item into system for accuracyFill with protective packing materials if necessarySeal and label box for shippingEnsures accurate preparation of packages as required by various hazardous material regulations.Use scanner/computer/printer for processing shipments
    Performs all aspects of picking orders:
      Per the order, locate the item on a shelf, scan item, and pull for packingPicking items may require the use of a cart or pallet jackUse hand-held scanner for scanning items and locations
    Performs all aspects of receiving items into warehouse:
      Match receiving ticket with order and check to see if all items have arrived.Produce labels for each item and label accordingly.Scan item into system, and put in the warehouse location on shelf, etc.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assists with periodic cycle counting of warehouse inventory.Assists with cleaning of warehouse, and keeping it organized.Complies with all Company policies (i.e. personnel, safety, etc.).Performs other duties as assigned. (Such duties may or may not be essential functions of the job.)

    Basic math skillsAbility to readAbility to understand and read written procedures and policies, etc.Ability to transport packages up to 70 pounds frequently each dayAbility to operate a pallet jackGood Communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsAttention to DetailBasic computer experience requiredFork-lift certification a plus

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    This position works indoors in a temperature controlled environment. It requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and the ability to transport up to 70 pounds and operate a pallet jack.
