Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs that support core platform capabilities.
Build and maintain intuitive, responsive, and high-performance frontend applications using modern web technologies.
Own engineering projects end to end, from system architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver new features.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code that follows established software engineering best practices.
Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews, helping maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and implementation.
Troubleshoot complex issues across the application stack and improve system reliability, performance, and security.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, development tools, and team workflows.
Explore emerging technologies and introduce practical solutions that strengthen platform capabilities and development efficiency.
Provide technical guidance to teammates and help establish engineering practices that support the organization's growth.

Experience with modern frontend frameworks and technologies, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, or similar tools.
Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex technical projects and deliver them from initial design through production deployment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
The following qualifications are advantageous:
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and vector databases.
Experience working in an early-stage startup or another fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies, Google SecOps, or Chronicle.
Relevant Google Cloud certifications, such as Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Data Engineer.
Benefits:
Base salary: $120,000–$170,000 for the position based in San Jose, with offers determined by experience, skills, education, certifications, and equity considerations.
Competitive overall compensation and benefits package.
Equity opportunities as part of the compensation offering.
Opportunity to work with advanced AI-driven cybersecurity technologies and Google SecOps solutions.
Collaboration with an experienced, innovative engineering team focused on improving security operations.
