Grants Billing Coordinator in Miami, Florida at Alliance For Aging Inc

Reporting directly to the Associate VP of Finance, the incumbent works under direct supervision and is responsible for reviewing the accuracy and completeness of units billed by providers and ensuring the receipt of payments to caregivers.

Primary Accountabilities

• Reviews and processes Provider monthly billing and reporting.
• Track billing information in Excel.
• Receives incoming calls from providers regarding payments.
• Reviews and investigates errors and inconsistencies in Provider invoicing and communicates errors and inconsistencies back to the provider.
• Submits all required reports on a timely basis.
• Prepares caregiver payments through CIRTS utilization reports.
• Travels to Alliance contracted agencies to support with CIRTS monitoring as needed.
• Track all outstanding Contracts and Contract Amendments with providers and DOEA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Ideal candidate will possess:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
• Possess at least two years’ experience. Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• Experience with governmental and/or non-profit agency preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and math skills.
• Strong initiative and follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with social services, particularly the aging service network is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrated PC ability to include Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel with previous knowledge of accounting software.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
