Medical Assistant in Orland Park at Healthonomic Primary Care

Healthonomic Primary Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical care and patient flow. As a medical assistant, you'll room patients, take vitals and histories, assist providers with exams and procedures, and help keep the clinic running smoothly. This is a hands-on clinical role for someone who enjoys patient contact and wants to grow with a primary care practice.

• Room patients and prepare them for exams, procedures, and treatments
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and EKGs
• Assist providers during physical, pediatric, and other exams
• Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
• Collect and prepare specimens for outside lab testing
• Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms and clinical equipment
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in the EMR
• Support front-desk and scheduling coverage as needed
