We are looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence within the North American market.
Requirements:The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients. This role combines strategic sales, territory management, customer service, and brand representation within the hunter, jumper, and equitation disciplines. Success in this position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for equestrian sport, and the ability to build long-term partnerships based on trust and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow sales within the assigned territory
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, including trainers, riders, barns, and retail partners.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with professional riders, amateurs, and industry influencers.
- Conduct saddle fittings and product demonstrations.
- Attend horse shows, clinics, and industry events to represent the BUTET brand.
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting through delivery and after-sales service.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales objectives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports.
- Coordinate closely with the North American and French teams regarding orders, production, and customer follow-up.
- Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience that reflects BUTET's brand values.
- Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
- Strong knowledge of the hunter/jumper industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a territory.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends during horse show season.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide.
- Experience with CRM software is an asset.

Year 1 potential of up to $90k ($55k base + uncapped commissions)
