We are currently recruiting a SHEQ Officer to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role is part of a global team working towardcommon goals. We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility andclear accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily O&M activities to ensure compliance with established SHEQ policies.
- Conduct regular safety walk-throughs, inspections, and assist in risk assessments.
- Deliver toolbox talks and participate in training sessions for new hires and subcontractors.
- Track and record incidents, help investigate root causes, and recommend basic corrective actions.
- Maintain SHEQ records, permits, and logs in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve typical safety concerns and suggest procedural improvements.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine safety questions from site staff.
- Monitor PPE usage and support the enforcement of safe work practices.
- Assist with emergency response plans and participate in safety drills.
- Contribute to pre-task planning meetings and encourage safe work behaviors.
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma required; technical certificate or associate degree in SHEQ or related field preferred.
- OHS certification required; First Aid/CPR certification required.
- Other safety-related training and certificates considered a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in SHEQ roles in construction or industrial settings.
- Practical knowledge of OHSA and site safety regulations.
- Experience conducting safety inspections and basic incident investigations.
- Use of safety documentation and reporting tools (Excel, Word; basic digital apps).
- Understanding of standard CSP practices and hazards.
- Proactive and detail-oriented in identifying risks.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Capable of leading toolbox talks and supporting daily safety operations.
- Collaborative and accountable.
