Loan Processor III (Spanish Speaking Required)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Loan Processor III (Spanish Speaking Required) based in the United States.

This role is responsible for managing mortgage loan files from application through closing across conventional and government-backed loan products.
You will independently review documentation, assess files against investor guidelines, and ensure all requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
The position plays a key role in keeping loan pipelines moving while delivering responsive service to borrowers, internal teams, and third-party partners.
You will use pipeline and document management systems to organize priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet monthly funding expectations.
Success requires strong knowledge of mortgage programs, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload independently.
As a Spanish-speaking professional, you will also help provide an accessible and effective experience for Spanish-speaking customers throughout the lending process.

Accountabilities
  • Independently process conventional and government-backed mortgage loan products from application through closing.
  • Review loan files and determine the documentation required to satisfy investor and program guidelines.
  • Request, organize, review, and process required loan documentation while ensuring files remain complete and accurate.
  • Communicate promptly with Loan Consultants, Processing Managers, borrowers, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders, generally responding to inquiries within two hours.
  • Use pipeline reports to monitor loan activity, prioritize daily tasks, and maintain efficient workflow throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan information within document management and processing systems.
  • Consult regularly with the Loan Processing Manager regarding loan status, priorities, and workflow requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mortgage guidelines, lending requirements, and applicable loan programs.
  • Independently submit complete loan files to Underwriting and follow up on outstanding requirements.
  • Manage a full loan pipeline consistently while balancing accuracy, service quality, deadlines, and changing market conditions.
  • Meet monthly funding expectations based on assigned pipeline volume and prevailing market conditions.
  • Provide clear and professional communication in both English and Spanish to support an effective customer experience.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional loan processing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience processing FHA and VA loan products.
  • Hands-on experience with Automated Underwriting, particularly Desktop Underwriter (DU).
  • Previous purchase loan processing experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
  • Fluent Spanish language skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, investor requirements, loan programs, and underwriting processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple loan files, competing priorities, and time-sensitive requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial and lending documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and consistently manage a high-volume pipeline.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong follow-through, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.
