Mandarin-Speaking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Pediatric Support in at Serenity At Heart

Are you a compassionate Mandarin-speaking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping them grow, learn, and become more independent?

Serenity at Heart is seeking a dependable and caring RBT who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys being part of a child’s developmental journey.

We are looking for someone who understands that progress may happen one small step at a time — and who enjoys celebrating those steps right alongside the child and family.

As an RBT with Serenity at Heart, you will provide individualized behavioral and developmental support while following the child’s approved treatment and support plans.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing one-on-one behavioral and developmental support.
• Communicating effectively with the child and family in Mandarin.
• Implementing strategies established by the supervising BCBA or other authorized clinical professional.
• Supporting development of communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Using positive reinforcement to encourage skill development and appropriate behaviors.
• Assisting with routines, transitions, and age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting increased independence.
• Encouraging positive social interactions.
• Recognizing behavioral triggers and early warning signs.
• Using approved redirection and de-escalation strategies.
• Remaining calm and supportive during challenging behaviors.
• Collecting behavioral data as required.
• Completing accurate and timely service documentation.
• Communicating progress, concerns, and changes to the appropriate supervisor or clinical team.
• Collaborating appropriately with family members, caregivers, school personnel, and members of the child’s treatment team.

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese communication skills required.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred/required based on assignment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with children strongly preferred.
• Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or mental health needs is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or must be obtained within the agency’s required timeframe.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks and screenings.
• Must complete Serenity at Heart orientation and client-specific training.
