Position Summary

Provide engineering support for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities focused on ATA Chapter 25 - Equipment & Furnishings. The position involves developing engineering solutions, preparing certification documentation, and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze requirements and perform engineering assessments for cabin refurbishment projects, including floor coverings, ceiling panels, bulkheads, seats, divans, and other ATA 25 components.
  • Design and modify mechanical parts, assemblies, and installations using AutoCAD at an advanced level and Siemens NX for basic to intermediate assemblies.
  • Create and update technical drawings, 3D models, and installation documentation.
  • Prepare and manage certification documentation, including Engineering Orders (EOs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Deviation Sheets, and other related technical documents.
  • Manage engineering data and workflows in Teamcenter, ensuring accurate configuration control.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aircraft technical manuals, including the OMM, AMM, IPC, and other relevant publications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Production, Flammability, Stress, Certification, Electrical Engineering, and other stakeholders throughout the certification process.
  • Provide engineering support to workshop and production teams during installation and modification activities.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation required for certification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and EASA certification requirements, including FAR/CS 25 and Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs).


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in aircraft design engineering, MRO engineering, or cabin modification projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD for creating parts, assemblies, and production drawings.
  • Good understanding of aircraft technical manuals, including the OMM, AMM, IPC, and certification processes.
  • Knowledge of FAA and EASA certification requirements, including FAR 25, CS 25, and STCs.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
  • Experience working in international environments and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in demanding environments.
