Join a remote engineering team building scalable, high-performance web applications using the MERN stack. You’ll take ownership across frontend, backend, and MongoDB-focused data layers, contributing to products from development through production. The role combines hands-on coding with collaboration across product, design, and QA. You’ll build new features while improving the performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of existing systems. • Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), while developing reusable components and managing application state with Redux or Context API.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, mobile-responsive interfaces and ensure compatibility across modern browsers and devices.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js, implementing business logic with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth, and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Design and manage MongoDB databases, including schemas, indexes, aggregation pipelines, optimized queries, and data integrity processes, using Mongoose or native MongoDB drivers.
• Contribute to cloud and DevOps activities using platforms such as AWS, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines through tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while helping maintain reliable and performant applications.
• Develop unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and consistently apply clean-code and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver features on schedule.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in full-stack web development, with strong hands-on project experience considered alongside professional tenure.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB as the primary database technology.
• Demonstrated experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and developing complete web application features across frontend and backend layers.
• Solid understanding of Git, version control, collaborative development workflows, and software development best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS and core cloud concepts, with practical exposure to services such as EC2, S3, RDS, or Lambda.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows is highly valuable.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, microservices architecture, or PostgreSQL/MySQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with OWASP and secure application development practices is a plus.
• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
