The Program Management Associate supports the planning, coordination, data governance, and execution of Nexio’s vehicle and advanced manufacturing programs from development through Start of Production (SOP).


This role serves as a central hub for program information—maintaining the integrity of master tracking tools, ensuring milestones and actions are current, identifying risks, and driving follow-through across functions to keep programs on track.


Working directly with the Technical Program Manager, the Program Management Associate provides reliable program visibility and helps ensure program information is accurate, current, and actionable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

PROGRAM TRACKING & MILESTONE MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain master program plans and milestone trackers.
  • Track status, dependencies, deliverables, owners, and due dates.
  • Monitor progress and follow up to drive completion.

DATA GOVERNANCE & REPORTING

  • Maintain Excel-based program tracking tools.
  • Ensure program data is accurate, complete, consistent, and current.
  • Support dashboards, status reports, and leadership visibility.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION

  • Coordinate updates across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functions.
  • Capture actions, decisions, owners, and commitments.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and escalate unresolved items.

START OF PRODUCTION & LAUNCH READINESS

  • Track readiness activities across program workstreams.
  • Identify missing, overdue, and at-risk deliverables.
  • Support milestone reviews and SOP-readiness assessments.

RISK, ISSUE & CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain risk, issue, action, and decision logs.
  • Track mitigation activities and closure dates.
  • Escalate emerging schedule risks and dependencies.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Improve trackers, templates, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate program data.
  • Support transition to more advanced program-management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 1–3 years of project coordination, program support, manufacturing, engineering support, data analysis, or related experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to identify incomplete information, schedule risks, and data inconsistencies and escalate appropriately.

Preferred

  • Automotive, commercial vehicle, advanced manufacturing, or engineering-program experience.
  • NPI or production-launch exposure.
  • Experience with schedules, milestone trackers, action logs, or launch-readiness tools.
  • Advanced Excel, Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, or Power BI exposure.
  • Exposure to ERP/MRP, PLM, or project-management systems.
