About the Role:
The Senior HR Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering a broad range of Human Resources programs and initiatives, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, helping ensure the consistent application of HR policies, practices, and employment laws while fostering a positive employee experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on workplace issues, performance concerns, and company policies.
- Assist in resolving NHQ employee relations matters through appropriate investigation, documentation, and follow-up.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and organizational communications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support organizational change and HR transformation efforts as needed.
- Support performance review processes and manager training initiatives.
- Support policy development and implementation efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or related HR role.
- Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with ADP or other enterprise HR systems.
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
