We are currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Sales and Resident Relations Coordinator.

What You Will Work On

Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Resident Relations, the Sales and Resident Relations Coordinator supports sales, admissions, leasing, and resident-relations activities across Shepherd Terrace and Shepherd Village’s independent living properties.

The coordinator serves as a key point of contact throughout the resident lifecycle—from initial inquiries, tours, and prospect qualifications through admissions, onboarding, ongoing support, and sensitive transitions. The role maintains CRM systems, coordinates leasing and admissions processes, and liaises with external agencies and referral partners.

How You’ll Create Impact

  • Assist in achieving and maintaining full occupancy of the Shepherd Village facilities.
  • Welcome/onboard new residents and family members to Shepherd Village, providing support and assistance to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Conducting tours of the community for prospective residents and their families.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting community features and benefits.
  • Prepare and review leasing agreements for signature with prospective residents/tenants.
  • Support the completion of necessary documentation for resident admissions.
  • Assist new residents during the Move-In process and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Follow up with new residents to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Assist with promoting Shepherd Village properties.
  • Manage the Customer Relationship Management system; maintain an accurate database of leads and prospects.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from potential residents and their families.
  • Preparing weekly marketing updates for management.

What Are Your Skills and Experience

  • MUST be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets and charts.
  • Knowledge of marketing and customer relations management.
  • Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills orientated toward the needs and challenges of the mature adult and their families.
  • Professional demeanour and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management software is an asset.
  • Experience in senior living is a definite asset.
  • Previous experience working in a seniors’ care environment preferred.
