Warehouse Worker in Jessup, Pennsylvania at BRIMAR INDUSTRIES LLC

Brimar Industries is adding to our team and we are currently seeking a warehouse worker to support our production and freight operations in Jessup, PA. This role is primary is responsible for producing traffic safety products, including cones, channelizers, and vertical panels, by following established standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position ensures products are assembled accurately, labeled correctly, and meet quality standards while maintaining productivity, safety, and cleanliness throughout the manufacturing process.

This candidate must have previous freight calculation and warehouse experience. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position works closely with the warehouse team, customer service, and carriers to ensure an exceptional shipping experience for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble cones and channelizers using the assigned collar type according to production specifications.
• Stencil cones and channelizers as required.
• Label vertical panels accurately and according to work instructions.
• Operate cutting equipment to produce labels for channelizers and vertical panel production.
• Safely operate a propane flamer to prepare cones and channelizers for labeling and production.
• Pick materials and components from warehouse inventory locations.
• Assist in unloading incoming freight containers
• Assist freight in picking and assemble of orders
• Operate both manual and electric pallet jacks to transport materials and finished products.
• Monitor production equipment and promptly report machine malfunctions or operational issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support business operations.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly operate and maintain warehouse equipment and tools.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment malfunctions to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and repetitive hand and wrist movements to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Basic math, counting, and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to safely operate production machinery and assembly equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures.
• Strong commitment to product quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory movement.
