Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to deliver instructor-led, role-based training to District and Vendor Case Workers for the rollout of the new Clinical Case Management System (CCMS).In this role, you will be responsible for mastering the Blue Compass system's functionality and translating that knowledge into effective, hands-on training for system users You will work closely with the Prime Contractor's Training & Development staff to prepare and deliver engaging sessions that ensure smooth adoption of the new CCMS by diverse stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES
• System Mastery & Preparation: Participate in a mandatory 10-day "Train-the-Trainer" (TTT) program to learn Blue Compass software functionality, detailed workflows, and hands-on exercises
• Curriculum Review: Engage in practice teaching sessions and comprehensive reviews of PowerPoint presentations and training materials alongside the Prime Contractor's staff.
• Instructional Delivery: Lead comprehensive software training classes for up to 25 individuals per session.
• Topic Coverage: Provide clear instruction on critical system functions, including CCMS access, basic navigation, viewing client information, program enrollment, and outcome tracking (activities, goals, and eligibility)
• Hybrid Training Operations: Deliver training in both virtual environments and conduct at least three intensive in-person training days (9 hours each) at a designated DHCF facility in the District of Columbia

QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated experience as a technical or software Training Specialist, specifically delivering instructor-led training to adult learners.
• Ability to rapidly learn complex software applications (e.g., case management systems like Blue Compass) and translate technical workflows into accessible, user-friendly concepts.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage classroom dynamics for classes of up to 25 stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating closely with prime contractor teams and government agency stakeholders.
• Flexibility to teach in both remote (virtual) and on-site environments in Washington, D.C.
