About the Role:

The Signarama Marketing Manager is the practical execution lead for franchisee marketing support and performance marketing. This role connects brand strategy, Marketing Fund programs, platforms, vendors, training, and performance data to help franchisees strengthen local execution and convert marketing investment into business results. The Marketing Manager provides hands-on consultation, audits local and national marketing performance, creates actionable plans and educational resources, and coordinates with key vendor partners to improve adoption, accountability, lead generation, and follow-through across the network.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary marketing resource for Signarama franchisees, responding to questions, conducting consultations, and translating brand and network-level strategy into prioritized local action plans.
  • Conduct local and national marketing performance audits across paid search, websites, local SEO and answer engine optimization, social media, online reputation, listings, lead capture, CRM workflows, and related digital channels.
  • Review performance data, campaign signals, budgets, conversion tracking, attribution, lead quality, local conditions, and franchisee goals before recommending actions or escalation.
  • Identify underperforming locations, campaigns, platforms, or processes; validate the underlying data; document findings; and coordinate clear next steps with franchisees, internal teams, agencies, and vendors.
  • Deliver marketing training through webinars, workshops, owner meetings, and one-on-one coaching, with an emphasis on repeatable execution and measurable follow-through.
  • Coordinate with key agency and platform partners on scope, implementation, training, marketing performance, issue resolution, deliverables, product feedback, and accountability.
  • Manage marketing readiness for new-store launches, including the launch pipeline, platform setup, content, training, early campaign review, and the handoff from opening activity to sustained local marketing routines.
  • Improve local website content, imagery, service pages, search visibility, conversion paths, and brand consistency while helping franchisees appropriately localize their marketing.
  • Identify recurring franchisee or operational pain points and create scalable solutions, such as templates, dashboards, intake paths, automations, training resources, and source-of-truth practices.
  • Maintain clear ownership, next actions, due dates, and follow-up after consultations, meetings, tickets, performance reviews, and vendor discussions.
  • Manage engagement of marketing tools, platforms and resources including training and onboarding for both Signarama’s internal team and external franchise network.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 5+ years experience supporting multi-location, agency, or field marketing environments is preferred (franchise knowledge a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience in performance marketing, digital marketing analysis, training, vendor coordination, and client or franchisee consultation is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret reporting, agreements, process documentation, platform guidance, and business communications.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, recommendations, training materials, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with franchise owners, employees, vendors, agencies, and leadership groups.
  • Ability to interpret data and instructions presented in written, oral, dashboard, spreadsheet, visual, or schedule form and to distinguish tracking or data-quality concerns from true performance issues.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong working knowledge of web browsers, CRM systems, digital marketing and reporting platforms, project or task management tools, and virtual meeting and training software.
  • Ability to learn and support franchise technology and vendor platforms.
  • Familiarity with paid search, web analytics, local SEO, reputation management, social media management, lead routing, dashboards, and AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred.

Once you become part of our amazing team of winners you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive training to hone your skills at our headquarters
  • Travel opportunities
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance coverage
  • Generous time off (PTO)
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Social gatherings and team building activities
  • Leadership workshops for personal development
  • Recognition for our top performers
  • Philanthropy - a chance to give back to the community
