By establishing clear project plans, managing dependencies, and driving accountability, you will ensure initiatives remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. You will also contribute to improving enterprise project management standards while supporting change readiness and adoption of new processes, technologies, and operating models. This opportunity is well suited to an experienced project leader who combines strategic thinking, strong communication, and independent problem-solving skills.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with portfolio analysts and enterprise project management leadership, establishing governance frameworks and maintaining visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and business value.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of enterprise project management standards, tools, templates, and governance practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, critical paths, resource considerations, and interdependencies to support successful delivery.
  • Align business leaders, functional teams, subject matter experts, and external partners around project scope, priorities, success measures, responsibilities, and expected outcomes.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, including project status updates, risk summaries, milestone reviews, and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and trade-offs, escalating critical concerns with clear mitigation recommendations.
  • Facilitate working sessions to define implementation roadmaps, support decision-making, resolve obstacles, and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Drive change readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, and implementation activities for new processes, technologies, and operating models.
  • Coach project teams and functional leaders on governance expectations, accountability, risk management, disciplined execution, and effective project delivery practices.
  • Apply stage-gate reviews and structured escalation processes to support informed leadership decisions and maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Adapt project management approaches to evolving business needs, navigating ambiguity and developing practical solutions to complex delivery challenges.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional or educational experience.
  • At least five years of experience leading complex cross-functional projects, enterprise-wide initiatives, or transformational programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups, competing priorities, significant organizational change, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, planning, prioritization, risk management, dependency tracking, and execution methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of organizational change management approaches, stakeholder engagement practices, and adoption planning techniques.
  • Experience facilitating alignment and decisions among executive sponsors, senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders with differing priorities.
  • Ability to identify systemic risks, evaluate trade-offs, manage dependencies, and anticipate organizational implications across complex initiatives.
  • Strong change leadership skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge existing practices constructively, and encourage adoption of new ways of working.
  • High sense of ownership and urgency, with a disciplined approach to escalation, mitigation planning, accountability, and delivery commitments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and the ability to recommend practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate reporting, and coordinate multiple initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities, including the capacity to build trust, align stakeholders, and hold teams accountable without direct authority.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management platforms used for planning, collaboration, reporting, and work management, including Monday.com, Smartsheet, and Azure DevOps.
