RN Internal Traveler - Behavioral Health Services Inpatient
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week
Pay range is between $65-$75/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer.
+$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Services Inpatient who functions as a direct patient care giver within the unit's care delivery system, and integrates nursing theories and solution focused therapy into patient care.
Contracts are 13 weeks.

Qualifications
•Colorado RN license in good standing.
•BLS from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
•Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
•Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
•Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
•Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
•Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
•Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
•It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
•Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
•Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure.
•Leads/Participate in patient groups.
