- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes driven by metadata to transform large volumes of raw data into analytical structures ready for business decision-making.
- Design and define scalable data architectures and workflows using modern approaches such as Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Data Vault, Kimball, medallion architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of reusable frameworks, accelerators, proof of concepts, and engineering best practices used across multiple projects.
- Explore and implement emerging technologies and modern data solutions including Apache Iceberg, Microsoft Fabric, DLT, and advanced cloud-based data platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align technical solutions with business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical mentoring activities to elevate engineering quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure data quality, scalability, traceability, and governance across the full data lifecycle.
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer building data ingestion and transformation solutions in cloud or on-premise environments.
- Strong expertise in Data Warehouse architecture and modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault 2.0.
- Hands-on experience with modern integration and orchestration tools such as dbt, dlt, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent technologies.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, AWS Glue, Dataflow, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of DataOps, Data Observability, Data Quality, or Data Mesh concepts is highly valued.
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and MLOps environments is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and curiosity for emerging technologies and innovation.
- Professional level of English to collaborate effectively within international teams and projects.
