Accountabilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes driven by metadata to transform large volumes of raw data into analytical structures ready for business decision-making.
Design and define scalable data architectures and workflows using modern approaches such as Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Data Vault, Kimball, medallion architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
Contribute to the creation of reusable frameworks, accelerators, proof of concepts, and engineering best practices used across multiple projects.
Explore and implement emerging technologies and modern data solutions including Apache Iceberg, Microsoft Fabric, DLT, and advanced cloud-based data platforms.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align technical solutions with business requirements and strategic objectives.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical mentoring activities to elevate engineering quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
Ensure data quality, scalability, traceability, and governance across the full data lifecycle.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
At least 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer building data ingestion and transformation solutions in cloud or on-premise environments.
Strong expertise in Data Warehouse architecture and modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault 2.0.
Hands-on experience with modern integration and orchestration tools such as dbt, dlt, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent technologies.
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, AWS Glue, Dataflow, or Microsoft Fabric.
Knowledge of DataOps, Data Observability, Data Quality, or Data Mesh concepts is highly valued.
Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and MLOps environments is considered a plus.
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and curiosity for emerging technologies and innovation.
Professional level of English to collaborate effectively within international teams and projects.
