Job Description
Are you a hands-on materials professional who leads by example? Paslin, a global leader in automation systems integration, is seeking a Material Coordinator (Senior / Lead) to lead the team responsible for material flow to support manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, ownership, and collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a working leader, this role combines daily execution with coordination and oversight:
- Lead and manage daily material flow activities to support manufacturing schedules. Monitor tool assembly work orders to ensure timely material availability. Coordinate and prioritize material movement between departments to prevent delays.
- Serve as a point of contact for material-related issues, escalating and resolving challenges proactively.
- Train, mentor, and support team members on processes and best practices
- Accurately transact materials within the ERP system. Verify purchased materials against bills of material and resolve discrepancies. Oversee job-to-job material transfers and maintain accurate warehouse locations.
- Promote safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to project materials, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational success.
Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.
Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at local Paslin location. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business. Regular work hours are 6am-430pm, M-Th. OT is typically worked on Friday / Saturday during peak project periods.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a related field. Prior leadership experience is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred), strong computer literacy, excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills.
