Compensation: Bargaining Unit Position — Compensation and benefits per collective bargaining agreement — $18.55/hr to start, $19.05/hr after 60 days

The Float Stocker supports multiple departments by stocking, rotating, and maintaining displays while providing courteous customer service. This role ensures accurate pricing, organized shelves, and a clean, safe store environment across departments as operational needs shift.

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently when assigned to register coverage.
• Assist customers with product questions and refer to appropriate staff when needed.
• Answer and route phone calls as needed.
• Verify that accurate price tags are present for department products.
• Rotate older stock to the front and pull short-date or low-quality items in accordance with established procedures.
• Stock displays fully without overcrowding; face and organize shelves.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and rotate overstock into back stock.
• Inform appropriate staff of pricing errors, PLU errors, and unpriced items.
• Clean up spills promptly and remove trash.
• Sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Assist various departments as needed based on store priorities, including: grocery, refrigerated, produce, front end, bulk, bakery, beer and wine, and cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in retail, stocking, or customer service environments preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

• Regular and predictable attendance.

• Availability to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Ability to perform stocking tasks, including frequent bending and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work in refrigerated and wet conditions.
