The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to oversee our portfolio of Registered Managersacross theRegion. As the RegionalDirector youll be accountable for the financial and operational performance of your region. This includes responsibility for leading a management team, the management of quality and care standards, cost control, commissioning, employee engagement and retention initiatives, engaging with a spectrum of stakeholders and ensuring regulatory requirements are satisfied.
This is ahome based role with an expectation for extensive travel depending on the needs of the business. You will need to be a driver to be successful in this role. We have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UKs fastest growing technology-enabled care provider.
Responsibilities:
Oversee, planning, directing, and completing rigorous inspections and follow-up across healthcare settings that are registered with the national regulators which will involve liaison with the individual Service Managers, the operational management teams and head office colleagues.
Youll be eager to take on the responsibility of producing a report which relays the outcomes of inspections, setting requirements and timescales for completion with Registered Managers and operational management teams.
Lead services in the absence of a Registered Manager.
Develop strong relationships with commissioners and key stakeholders within the business.
Drive improvement in key areas such as compliance & quality, meeting contractual requirements and workforce retention.
What were looking for:
A driver with a full clean drivers licence is a must for this role, someone flexible to travel to our sites. This role includes frequent travel
Previous senior management level experience within social care is required for this role.
Proven track record successfully managing a large portfolio of domiciliary care services (10+branches).
Someone compliant with excellent working knowledge of essential standards and all legislation relevant to social care.
Evidence of turnaround management would be required for this role.
Previous experience working in a regulated care environment is a must.
Level 5 in Management in Health & Social Care Would be desirable.
Someone compliant with the knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 would be highly desirable.
A leader with a passion for delivering excellent care to a high standard.
Proficient written & problem solving skills.
Requirements:
- NVQ/SVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role within Domiciliary Care
- Car driver, with access to own transport for business purposes
