Overview
The Harbor Foodservice Operations System Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality and continuous improvement of operational technology that supports warehouse and transportation operations. This position serves as the primary liaison between Operations and IT, overseeing hardware, operational systems and user support while driving technology initiatives that improve compliance, productivity, accuracy and customer service.
Operations System Supervisor leads troubleshooting efforts, manages equipment lifecycle and develops standardized processes that enable efficient daily operations.
Compensation: $28.00/hour - $33.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse and transportation operational technology including but not limited to handheld scanners, tablets, forklift-mounted computers, Vocollect voice equipment, printers and other technology.
- Coordinate deployment, repair and replacement of operational technology assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and technology assets.
- Ensure operational systems are available, reliable and functioning to support daily business needs.
- Troubleshoot and issue resolution for warehouse and transportation technology.
- Escalate hardware, software and infrastructure issues to IT or third-party vendors as needed
- Monitor for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime / technology failures
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through technology.
- Participate in implementation of new operational technologies and system enhancements
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for operational systems
- Support testing, validation and rollout of new systems, including upgraded and additional functionalities
- Analyze operational system performance to recommend improvements
- Partners with Warehouse, Transportation, Truck Shop, Inventory Control, Food Safety and IT to resolve operational challenges
- Coordinate technology requirements for new team members, departmental changes and operational projects.
- Train operational personnel in proper use of technology and operating systems
- Develop user guides, work instructions and troubleshooting documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience supporting warehouse operations, operational systems or distribution technology
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanning and voice-directed picking systems preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
