About the role
Imagineeer is seeking a DevOps ServiceNow Engineer to focused on developing workflows and advancing the overall maturity of the ServiceNow platform. This role will work alongside senior platform engineers to build out automation, streamline processes, and expand platform capabilities in support of federal IT service management and cybersecurity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow workflows using low-code/no-code tools (Flow Designer, App Engine Studio)
- Support ongoing platform maturity initiatives, including process standardization, module optimization, and best-practice implementation
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Assist with ServiceNow administration tasks, including user/role management, ACLs, and instance configuration
- Support update set management and application deployment across ServiceNow environments
- Troubleshoot workflow and platform issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cybersecurity teams to align development work with federal security and compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA)
- Document workflows, configurations, and platform changes to support knowledge sharing and contract deliverables
- Contribute to platform enhancement roadmaps aimed at improving ServiceNow maturity and adoption
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and/or administration
- Experience building workflows using ServiceNow low-code/no-code tools
- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP API integrations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment
- U.S. Citizenship (per contract requirements)
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Prior experience supporting federal government contracts
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and platform maturity frameworks
