Bakery Decorators
DEPARTMENT: Bakery
REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager
OBJECTIVE: As our Decorator you are responsible for producing and decorating a majority of our cake items from start to finish in a fast, efficient manner as directed by the Bakery Manager or based on special orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Job Duties:
1. Develop maximum customer relations through a friendly and courteous behavior.
2. Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
3. Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with objective of improved sales storewide.
4. Capable of producing and decorating cakes and related items in a proficient and skillful manner in accordance with standard formulas and procedures.
5. Capable of producing other bakery items as directed by the Bakery Manager.
6. Maintain an adequate inventory of novelties and supplies necessary for cake decoration.
7. Continually practice self-development so that additional duties and responsibilities can be assumed.
8. Comply with all company safety and accident prevention policies reporting all accidents to the Bakery Manager.
9. Assist in the receiving and storing of all bakery products.
10. Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the associate handbook.
11. Must be familiar with store layout, location of safety and emergency equipment.
12. Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
13. Attend store and company meetings as requested.
Housekeeping/Maintenance:
1. Use and maintain bakery equipment properly and safely at all times to avoid injury and protect the investment of our store.
2. Clean and sanitize areas of bakery and equipment as directed by Bakery Manager.
