About the role?

Lead complex solution sales for integrated communications technology serving public safety and other mission-critical markets. Own the full sales cycle, win strategic projects, and build trusted customer relationships across an assigned region.

We are currently looking for a Central Solutions Sales Manager & North East Solutions Sales Manager.

What makes a successful Solutions Sales Manager?

• Own and drive the full sales cycle across your assigned territory—from account targeting, prospecting, qualification, and opportunity development through solution positioning, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure—to achieve or exceed revenue and growth objectives, maintaining accurate CRM records and timely, evidence-based forecasting.

• Build and execute a focused territory and account strategy across public safety, state and local government, 911/emergency communications, education, healthcare, utilities, and other mission-critical markets.

• Develop trusted relationships with public-safety leaders and decision-makers, understanding their operational environment, technology priorities, funding and procurement processes, and long-term communications strategy by attending local APCO chapter meetings, commissioner meetings, and other key networking opportunities.

• Lead consultative, solution-based selling by translating customer operational and technical requirements into compelling Zetron solutions across our portfolio, including radio dispatch and mission-critical communications, LMR, RF infrastructure, paging, E911/NG911 telephony, CAD, GIS/mapping, alerting, and related solutions and services.

• Lead complex public-sector pursuits and competitive procurements, coordinating customer presentations, demonstrations, solution proposals, pricing strategies, business cases, and responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other formal tenders.

• Own the commercial strategy while orchestrating the right resources around each pursuit. Partner closely with sales engineering, product, services, channel, business development, and other specialists to develop solutions that are technically credible, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Represent Zetron as a trusted mission-critical communications partner at customer sites, industry conferences, trade shows, partner engagements, and public-safety events, with regular travel throughout the assigned territory

As a key member of the team, you must be able to:

• Demonstrated success navigating complex, long-cycle government procurements and preparing compelling technical and commercial bid responses, through exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and deal-closing skills

• A resilient, self-directed “hunter” mindset, supported by strong listening, organization, accuracy, and follow-through.

TRAVEL: 50%-75%

  • Ability to travel overnight
  • Short Notice Travel
  • Valid Drivers License and Acceptable Driving Record Required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The following list of requirements are considered the minimum levels of education and experience necessary to perform this job successfully.
