Key Responsibilities:

● Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children

● Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth

● Maintain open and respectful communication with families

● Promote and model positive behavior management techniques

● Work collaboratively with other caregivers and staff to maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment

● Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including during outdoor play

● Assist with meal preparation and serving

● Support children's hygiene needs, including diapering, toileting, and handwashing

Qualifications:

● Previous experience in a childcare, preschool, daycare, or nanny setting preferred

● Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a dynamic environment

● Must be able to lift/move/hold children (20+ lbs) frequently

● Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children

● CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

● Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

● Willingness to obtain required background checks and clearances (FBI, PA Child Abuse, State Criminal Background, National Sex Offender Registry)

● Current health assessment and TB test required
