Job Description
This position requires an active, independent Oregon clinical license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) and an active Oregon Medicaid provider ID.
We can't consider unlicensed or associate-level applicants. We also can't consider applicants who aren't enrolled as Oregon Medicaid (Oregon Health Plan) providers.
The Opportunity
Join Birches Health and help people recover from gambling addiction. Birches Health is a mission-driven mental health care provider focused on gambling addiction treatment. We offer training and CEUs in gambling addiction treatment to interested clinicians. Our providers join a community of like-minded clinicians. Benefits include fully remote work, training from clinical experts, regular team meetings, and company support.
We're looking for Oregon-licensed therapists who want to grow their skills while keeping client outcomes first. Because Oregon Health Plan members are among the people we serve, we need providers who are already enrolled with Oregon Medicaid.
Benefits
- Training in gambling addiction treatment from clinical industry leaders
- Flexible scheduling through our custom scheduling system
- Clinical guidelines and support from leaders across our provider community
- Templates and databases, so you spend less time on admin
- Virtual software that makes seeing a client easy
- Operational support: we handle client acquisition, billing, support, and operations
- Provide therapy to adult clients on your preferred schedule
- Work with clients to identify areas of concern and build a treatment plan
- Provide care to clients covered by Oregon Medicaid (Oregon Health Plan), following OHP and Oregon requirements
- Complete documentation that meets clinical, Medicaid, and state requirements
- Work with other clinicians and our admin team to offer evidence-based care that fits each client
- You hold an active, unrestricted Oregon license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Licenses in other states are a plus.
- You have an active Oregon Medicaid provider ID and are enrolled as a rendering provider with the Oregon Health Authority. This is required, and we'll ask for it at application.
- You have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience.
- You're comfortable offering care virtually and know the basics of technology.
- You have training and experience in CBT, MI, or other evidence-based approaches.
- You want to grow through additional training and partnership with leading clinicians.
- You enjoy working both independently and with other providers and admin team members.
