$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in your care.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Assist with homework and educational activities, fostering a love for learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area, encouraging children to participate in tidying up after activities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience caring for children.
- Strong understanding of infant development and care routines.
- Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (required).
- Background check and clean driving record.
- Non-smoker.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work Environment & Expectations
- In-home care setting.
- May require flexibility in scheduling (early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends).
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the family’s home.
- Minimal personal phone use while on duty.
