Description:

Provides oversight to Centers For Family Development, Inc.’s School Success Initiative and Project AWARE youth and families. Ensures compliance with all grant and Medicaid requirements in the areas of: personnel, operations, claims submission, credentialing, data implementation, grant and contract goals, documentation, and all other governing requirements. Fulfills Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) and identified grant contractual requirements with precision, as evidenced by successful audits of 90% or better. Oversees the timely completion of any required service authorizations and reauthorizations as well as the accuracy of claim submissions. Collaborates in the development and enhancement of program services within the department and in partnership with other service providers.

· Promote and ensures that all persons served, stakeholders, and partners are treated with respect and dignity.

· Maintains expected monthly productivity targets for each program under jurisdiction by monitoring performance, ensuring accurate billing practices, and addressing variances to meet or exceed established budget expectations.

· Monitors and reviews staff credentialing and continuing education status to ensure compliance with state and funder requirements, while holding staff accountable for maintaining their credentials.

· Monitors and maintains established compliance strategies to ensure adherence to service limitation dates, billing submission timeframes, and administrative due dates.

· Provides weekly clinical supervision to ensure family-centered treatment is rendered using evidence-based practices, and consumer treatment progress is occurring.

· Provides structured one-on-one staff shadowing as part of supervision, which includes carrying at least one shared consumer case with staff to model clinical practice and provide real-time coaching.

· Schedules and facilitate psychiatric services in adherence to managed care standards.

· Conducts weekly reviews of claims pending submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Medicaid requirements. Identifies and addresses errors or discrepancies prior to submission, verifies supporting documentation, and provides timely corrective guidance to staff to minimize claim denials and ensure proper reimbursement.

· Facilitates regular staff trainings focused on mental health, substance use, billing accuracy, quality improvement, and compliance standards to ensure consistent knowledge, performance, and regulatory adherence

· Performs regular case file reviews to ensure compliance with clinical pathways, documentation accuracy, and alignment with treatment plans, while identifying and addressing any gaps or inconsistencies.

· Assists with crisis resolution with 24/7/365 availability following CFDI and funders policies standard guidelines.

· Conducts routine monitoring of EBO, MHWIN, and other electronic systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of admissions, authorizations, billing, and discharges, while identifying and resolving discrepancies.

· Timely and accurate submission of monthly billing, quarterly reports, and all other funder-

and CFDI-required reports.

· Promptly implements program corrective actions as needed.

· Provides oversight and clinical guidance related to direct service delivery, including home-based interventions, ensuring staff adherence to best practices, treatment plans, and program requirements.

· Oversee the administration, implementation, and daily operations of program sites to ensure effective service delivery, compliance, and program performance.

· Ensures that clinical records are maintained on all persons served. Develops and implements CARF, funders, and program operations policies and procedures to maintain compliance.

· Ensures adherence to all contractual and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity and compliance of program operations.

· Monitors and reviews staff credentialing, licensure, and professional development requirements to ensure compliance with Medicaid standards, while holding staff accountable for maintaining required credentials and training hours.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in a human services or related field and current Michigan licensure required. Demonstrated experience in school-based mental health, including prevention and treatment, with strong knowledge of child and adolescent development and evidence-based practices. Proven ability to provide and supervise individual, family, and group therapy; complete assessments and clinical documentation; and deliver clinical coaching and leadership. Strong collaboration skills with schools, families, and community partners, along with experience in care coordination and serving at-risk youth, including implementation of suicide risk assessment and intervention strategies.
