Position Overview
OWT Global LLC is seeking MTT Instructors to deliver contractor-provided Mobile Training Team services in support of JIATF-401 Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) training operations. This requirement includes a baseline of 30 instructors with the ability to surge an additional 15 instructors. Instructors will project Joint C-UAS University (JCU)-standardized instruction and advanced tactical capabilities directly to individual installations, supporting Domestic Shield operational training, JIATF-401 new personnel onboarding, Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) training, and Joint Force C-sUAS training integration while preserving full operational uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver formal and informal C-sUAS instruction in accordance with JCU-validated doctrine and approved Programs of Instruction.
- Conduct classroom, practical, and field training events that project JCU-standardized content to operational units and installations.
- Prepare lesson plans, training aids, and evaluation materials aligned with current C-sUAS threats and defensive tactics.
- Assess student and unit performance against operational C-sUAS standards and document results.
- Maintain instructor proficiency and currency in Counter-sUAS systems, tactics, and Joint C-UAS University standards.
- Support surge operations by rapidly expanding instructional capacity to meet peak Domestic Shield and installation training demand.
- Coordinate with JCU Cadre, the MTT Synchronization Cell, Curriculum Integration Specialist, and Training Operations staff.
- Uphold safety, security, and operational standards during all training activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent military/technical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant instructional or operational experience, preferably in Counter-UAS, air defense, base defense, or related mission areas.
- Prior military instructor experience (Army Instructor Badge, Marine Combat Instructor, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Active Secret clearance; U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to travel extensively and support both CONUS and OCONUS MTT missions.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Direct experience delivering Mobile Training Team or expeditionary C-sUAS training.
- Familiarity with Joint C-UAS University doctrine, Domestic Shield, or JIATF-401 training constructs.
- Strong presentation, coaching, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to surge and operate effectively in high-tempo training environments.
- Strongly prefer ability to operate Group 1 and Group 2 UAS
Clearance & Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance required; U.S. Citizen.
