Who: We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional with 4+ years of federal and state income tax experience—ideally within public accounting—who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
What: You will prepare and review tax returns, support ASC 740 tax provisions, conduct technical tax research, manage multiple engagements, mentor staff, and serve as a key point of contact for international inbound clients.

Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Associate will manage complex tax engagements, prepare and review corporate and partnership filings, perform technical research, maintain client relationships, and support staff development while serving international manufacturing and distribution clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions.
- Act as a client point of contact, handling notices and responding to tax-related inquiries.
- Manage multiple engagements with accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
- Perform technical tax research on Federal, state, and international issues.
- Stay informed on tax law changes and perform in-depth research as needed.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff and interns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of federal and state income tax experience, including public accounting.
- BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
- Experience with manufacturing and distribution clients.
- CCH Axcess tax experience.
- Excellent English writing, research, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a process-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability.
- Demonstrated responsibility, ownership, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision background.
- CPA license or similar certification.
- ProSystem fx Engagement experience.
