Infant Teacher - Kïdo International Preschool | Early Childhood Education

Kïdo International Preschool is hiring a nurturing and experienced Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. If you love working with infants and are passionate about infant care, child development, and early learning, we want to meet you!

As an Infant Teacher, you will provide safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for infants while building strong relationships with children, families, and your teaching team.

What You'll Do
  • Provide responsive, nurturing care for infants in a licensed childcare or preschool classroom.
  • Support infants' social-emotional, cognitive, physical, sensory, and language development through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans based on children's individual needs, interests, and developmental milestones.
  • Follow individual infant routines for feeding, diapering, naps, and daily care.
  • Follow safe sleep practices and all health, safety, sanitation, and state licensing requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging infant classroom environment.
  • Observe, document, and communicate children's developmental progress and milestones.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and families about their child's development, routines, experiences, and progress.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
  • Work collaboratively with your teaching team to provide consistent, high-quality infant care.
  • Participate in professional development, coaching, and ongoing learning opportunities.

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
  • Experience working specifically with infants strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of infant development, child development, and developmental milestones.
  • Ability to provide warm, responsive, and attentive infant care.
  • Ability to create and implement age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Dependable, patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • CDA credential preferred, particularly for Lead Infant Teacher opportunities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
