Job Description
The RoleWe're looking for a staff product marketing leader to define how Linktree shows up for businesses, and to grow the number that choose us and pay for us. This role owns the positioning, narrative, and go-to-market for Linktree's business products: SMB tools that help small businesses build a professional presence, and Workspaces, our multi-profile, multi-seat product for teams, agencies, and brands managing at scale.
The mandate is commercial. Acquire more businesses, convert them to paid, and expand their footprint over time. You'll sit alongside our product and growth teams as the strategic authority on the business segment: who these customers are, what they need, what they'll pay for, and how Linktree wins them.
This is a staff role, which means you'll do the work and shape the function. You'll establish how Linktree thinks about the business segment by building the frameworks, forging the cross-functional relationships, and setting the standard for how business product marketing gets done.
If you're energized by B2B narratives, know what it takes to win SMB customers, and can translate multi-user product functionality into clear business value, this is a chance to define a category.
What you'll doOwn the positioning and storytelling for Linktree's business products
What you'll bring
What success looks like
Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $215,000-$225,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.
P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button!
Our Story
We’re on a mission to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe. We created the “link in bio” category — and we’re just getting started. From creators, artists, and entrepreneurs to global brands, we’re redefining how people connect with their communities, showcase their content and promote products — all in one link.
Today, a community of 70+ million use Linktree, including icons like Adidas, TikTok, the UN Environmental Program, The NFL, Manchester United, World Central Kitchen, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Selena Gomez. With 48,000 new accounts created every day, Linktree is the fastest-growing leader in our space.
We’ve teamed up with some of the world’s biggest platforms including TikTok, Snap, YouTube, GoFundMe, Spotify, Google, Stripe, Reddit, Laylo, and Kajabi, to unify Linkers’ digital spaces, and we partner with retail brands Amazon, Lululemon, Nike, Target, Sephora, Lululemon, and more to share products they love.
We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. If you're excited by the idea of shaping a new category, setting the standard, and making space for everyone to be seen and succeed, we’d love to meet you.
Where and How We Work
We're a global, diverse team spread across continents with offices in London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and San Francisco. We work together flexibly and you can choose the setup that works best for you: fully remote or a hybrid mix of office and home.
We offer autonomy in how you structure your days and weeks. While we’re mindful of time zones and occasionally collaborate outside the typical 9–5, we lean into async work to keep things flowing. Our culture is family-friendly and Zoom-casual where kids, pets, and delivery drivers are welcome.
How we’ll help you thrive
Our approach to benefits considers the whole person and the unique contributions they bring to Linktree. We want the experience at Linktree to be one that enables people to truly thrive so we can Go Further Together (one of our values). Some ways we support you:
At Linktree, we believe in promoting a culture that celebrates unique backgrounds, talents, and experiences, and we’re proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are creating an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and has equal opportunities to thrive. We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all team members have a sense of belonging. Linktree welcomes all people regardless of sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, age, or other lived experience. If you require accommodations to fully participate in our opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach us at talent@linktr.ee – your needs are important to us.

What you'll doOwn the positioning and storytelling for Linktree's business products
- Develop and evolve positioning and messaging for the full business suite (SMB tools, Workspaces, and what comes next) across business types, team sizes, and use cases.
- Build a differentiated narrative for Workspaces that lands the value of multi-profile, multi-seat management with the buyers and users who need it most.
- Speak to the distinct needs of each segment, from entreprenuers and local businesses to agencies managing dozens of client profiles to brands running coordinated multi-team presences.
- Keep the business story a natural, credible extension of Linktree's broader brand.
- Identify the highest-leverage acquisition, upgrade, and expansion moments, and build the messaging and in-product storytelling to capture them.
- Partner with CRM and lifecycle teams on journeys that move businesses from trial and activation to habitual use, paid plans, and seat expansion.
- Work with data teams to track funnels, find friction points, and iterate on positioning and onboarding to shorten time-to-value for new business customers.
- Develop self-serve education assets, from one-pagers to demo narratives to comparison guides, that help businesses understand, choose, and buy.
- Build deep, research-backed personas for Linktree's business segments: their workflows, buying dynamics, tool stacks, and what makes them switch.
- Influence roadmap priorities with business user demand, competitive gaps, and strategic opportunity signals.
- Establish frameworks for evaluating new business features, packaging decisions, and tier differentiation, balancing user value, conversion potential, and long-term retention.
- Act as the voice of the business user in product, growth, and commercial conversations, bringing qualitative research, behavioral data, and market intelligence.
- Own end-to-end GTM for business-focused launches, from SMB enhancements to major Workspaces releases.
- Define launch strategy across audience segmentation, channel approach, messaging hierarchy, and success metrics, then hold the cross-functional team to it.
- Partner with content, brand, and growth marketing to tell launch stories that feel credible, specific, and outcome-oriented.
- Build the repeatable playbooks that make every future business launch faster and sharper.
- Maintain a clear view of the business-facing link-in-bio and multi-profile management landscape, plus the adjacent productivity, brand management, and agency workflow tools businesses consider.
- Synthesize competitive intel, analyst signal, and business user feedback into sharp positioning updates and strategic recommendations.
- Identify and defend the territory where Linktree is uniquely positioned to win business users at scale.
- Be the connective tissue across product, growth, brand, and community teams so business messaging is consistent, accurate, and mutually reinforcing.
- Support localization and global expansion of business features with positioning that travels across markets and business cultures.
- Help internal teams, from support to marketing to leadership, articulate why Linktree is the right choice for businesses.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years in product marketing, with meaningful time on B2B, SMB, or multi-seat and team-based products.
- A track record of leading GTM for complex launches and driving measurable outcomes across acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Fluency in how businesses buy: longer consideration cycles, multi-stakeholder dynamics, and the need for ROI clarity.
- Experience building segment personas that actually shape product and go-to-market decisions, not just slide decks.
- A confident strategic voice. You're comfortable pushing back on product direction, advocating for your segment, and shaping decisions beyond your immediate remit.
- An analytical mindset that connects product and marketing performance data to positioning decisions and roadmap influence.
- The ability to lead across functions without formal authority. You know how to build alignment, move quickly, and bring people with you.
- Experience at a high-growth consumer or SMB platform is a strong plus; you don't need to have come from enterprise.
What success looks like
- Business acquisition and activation: measurable growth in new Workspaces and SMB accounts, with activation rates showing that positioning and onboarding convert intent into real usage.
- Free-to-paid conversion: a growing share of business users upgrading to paid tiers, driven by clearer value communication, sharper upsell messaging, and intentional in-product storytelling.
- Seat expansion: existing Workspaces accounts adding seats over time, showing the multi-user value proposition lands and keeps landing throughout the lifecycle.
- Business segment retention: business users churning at a lower rate than the general user base, a sign this segment is well-served and deriving ongoing value.
- Internal clarity: product, growth, and leadership share a confident understanding of who Linktree's business customers are and what they need, built on the personas, frameworks, and narratives this role creates.
