Beacon Health System is hiring a part-time day shift Mammography Technologist position for our Imaging Mishawaka Dept at Beacon Health System located in Granger, IN.

What You’ll Do

As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support early detection, diagnosis, and patient care.

Mammography Technologist Job Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography and bone density (DEXA) scans with accuracy and compassion.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality.
  • Support radiologists and care teams with complete and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Obtain thorough patient histories, answer questions, and provide reassurance throughout the exam process.
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance (MQSA, FDA, ACR) and assist with quality control activities.
  • Participate in community education, outreach programs, and the training of new staff.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and assist patients safely (lifting up to 35 lbs. independently).
  • Work in a radiological environment with appropriate safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through successful completion of an approved School of Radiology Technology program, with registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Maintenance of certification in Mammography and three months of on-the-job training is required.
