Job Description
Columbia Vehicle Group (CVG) designs and manufactures industry-leading electric vehicles serving commercial, industrial, and retail markets worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished vehicles throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify quality concerns, support corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections of vehicles, components, and assemblies.
Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
Identify, document, and communicate quality defects to supervisors and production teams.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving product quality.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain accurate inspection documentation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing.
Ability to inspect vehicles and components in confined or difficult-to-access areas.
Manual dexterity required to use measuring devices and inspection tools.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
