Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities on the floor, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established processes and standards. This role leads frontline team members, coordinates daily work assignments, and supports operational execution across all warehouse functions.

The Team Leader serves as a working supervisor, actively participating in warehouse operations while reinforcing performance expectations, safety compliance, and process discipline. This role partners closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure consistent execution and to escalate operational issues as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping

· Train and onboard new employees on processes, safety, and job expectations

· Assign work and direct team members to meet daily production and service goals

· Serves as back-up to Warehouse Manager, supervising staff

· Operates forklift and unloads trucks

· Assists with and training staff

· Assures compliance with all safety regulations

· Performs housekeeping and building maintenance duties

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory)
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
