PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT in POMONA, California at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center

Position Summary: Provides direct patient care. Supervises aides in non-patient related tasks. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs treatments, exercise instructions, and demonstrations for patients. May be involved in the supervision and education of high school and college students. May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: [Required] Valid California State Physical Therapy Assistant License. High school diploma or equivalent. BLS. Clinical training experience and continuing education in specialty area.

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) Rehabilitation Services is seeking professional individuals to join our large and growing inpatient and outpatient practice.

PVHMC is a nationally recognized and award winning 412 Bed, non-profit, acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Rehabilitation Services at PVHMC were established in 1954 and have grown to 75 licensed therapists and 110 Associates. Services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We are proud to have over 20 clinical specialty programs, each led by experienced and highly trained therapist. The PVHMC campus is home for our 11,000 sq. ft. outpatient clinic. We have 5 other outpatient clinics in the neighboring cities of Claremont, La Verne and Chino Hills. Two of these outpatient practices are exclusively pediatrics.

Salary range: $33.27 - $46.82. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
