Engineer in Dahlgren, Virginia at Ai Signal Research Inc

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department.

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desired but related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Months/Years of Experience: Five (5) years' experience dealing with the concept design and engineering,

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering. Ability to manage various aspects of a project to include technical, schedule, and budget. Ability to work effectively with customers to define test requirements and objectives. Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment with a diverse team. Strong communication skills to enable effective written and oral communication with all internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications: Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred but not required for consideration. Customer service experience, MS Project, Test and Evaluation program and the ability to travel 25% of the time are highly desired.

Duties: This engineer will serve as a mission lead responsible for requirements decomposition, customer interface, future mission planning and execution for the Broad Ocean Area Data Collection team.
