Position Objective: The Welder is responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and components by using various welding techniques. This role ensures strong, precise welds that meet safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform welding using techniques such as MIG and TIG – aluminum and stainless steel
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Set up welding equipment and select proper materials for each job
- Inspect welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Repair metal components and structures as needed
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe working conditions
- Follow safety procedures, including proper use of protective gear
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Vo-Tech or Trade School Certification
- Accredited welding certification a plus
- Minimum one (1) years of relevant production experience
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
Job Requirements
- This role requires the ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. The Welder must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in high-heat environments, and perform detailed tasks requiring strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
