This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Enterprise PMO & Operational Excellence in the United States.
In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a centralized Project Management Office (PMO) and driving enterprise-wide operational excellence across a fast-growing global organization. You will shape governance frameworks, standardize core business processes, and lead transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, control, and organizational maturity. Acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership, you will help align cross-functional teams around shared priorities, visibility, and execution discipline. This role combines program leadership, process optimization, and change management to enable scalable growth across multiple business lines. You will also play a key role in advancing automation, documentation governance, and operational controls across the enterprise. This is a high-impact position designed for a leader who thrives in building structure, clarity, and consistency in complex environments.
- Establish and lead the enterprise PMO framework, including governance structures, portfolio management, and prioritization processes.
- Develop executive-level reporting dashboards, project tracking systems, and performance visibility tools.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and cross-functional planning sessions to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Define, document, and optimize end-to-end business processes, including onboarding, payroll, billing, recruiting, and service delivery workflows.
- Build and maintain an enterprise SOP library and ensure standardization across business units and functions.
- Identify and drive operational efficiency improvements through process redesign and performance optimization initiatives.
- Implement and strengthen operational controls, including billing and payroll governance, audit readiness, and quality assurance processes.
- Centralize and govern contract management processes across clients, vendors, and workforce agreements.
- Lead enterprise transformation and change management initiatives, including automation and AI-driven improvements.
- Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, Delivery, and Talent teams to ensure consistent execution of enterprise initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in Program Management, PMO leadership, Management Consulting, or Operational Excellence roles.
- Proven experience building and scaling PMO structures, governance frameworks, and enterprise operating models.
- Strong background in process improvement, organizational design, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience implementing operational controls, compliance processes, or audit readiness frameworks.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed, or global organizations.
- Familiarity with staffing, professional services, consulting, healthcare, government, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience driving automation, digital transformation, or AI-enabled operational improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; advanced degree is a plus.
