Medical Delivery Technician | Delivering Essential Healthcare Equipment to Patients at Home

As a Medical Delivery Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring patients receive the equipment they need to safely recover and continue care at home. You will represent HSS in the field by providing professional, compassionate service during every delivery and interaction.
About the PositionThe Medical Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering, setting up, retrieving, and troubleshooting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients in homes, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle and transport medical equipment.

In this role, you will:- Deliver and install Durable Medical Equipment (DME) safely and efficiently
- Pick up equipment and return it for cleaning, maintenance, and redistribution
- Provide setup instructions and education to patients, families, and caregivers on proper equipment use
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and identify when additional support is needed
- Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle while completing daily delivery routes
- Complete required paperwork, delivery documentation, trip logs, and inventory records accurately
- Maintain organized equipment storage and follow company standards for handling medical supplies
- Lift, carry, push, and move equipment of various sizes and weights throughout the workday
- Navigate homes, hospitals, and care facilities to complete deliveries and equipment setups
- Provide professional and respectful service to patients and healthcare partners
What We’re Looking For
- Valid state-issued driver’s license in the state where the employee works, required.
- Ability to cover one week of on-call requirements per month.
- High school diploma required.
- 1 year of delivery and/or customer service, strongly preferred.
- Candidates should possess a safe driving history and will be required to complete a background screening as part of the hiring process.
- Must be 21 years of age to meet the coverage requirements of the company’s auto insurance.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment of varying weights.

Compensation
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
