This is a high-impact commercial leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across assigned territories in India. You will lead execution of regional sales strategies while strengthening relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, field execution, and team leadership, requiring strong commercial acumen and hands-on involvement in the market. You will coach and develop Territory Sales Managers to ensure consistent performance and capability building across the field force. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality, you will help ensure seamless delivery of customer commitments. This position offers exposure to regional and global stakeholders while contributing to broader commercial growth initiatives. - Define and execute territory and segment sales strategies aligned with regional and global commercial objectives.
- Drive achievement of annual and quarterly revenue, growth, and profitability targets across assigned markets.
- Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Managers, ensuring strong performance management and capability building.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure effective execution of customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Proven experience in sales management within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, or related industries.
- Strong track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in coaching, motivating, and managing field sales teams.
- Solid understanding of pricing, negotiation, segmentation, and value-based selling approaches.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
