Specialist, SEM

This role is focused on driving measurable growth through hands-on management of paid search campaigns across major advertising platforms. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling search engine marketing initiatives that directly impact lead generation, pipeline contribution, and revenue performance. Working in a highly data-driven environment, you will leverage insights from campaign analytics to continuously improve efficiency and ROI. The position involves close collaboration with analytics, creative, and strategy teams to align messaging, targeting, and performance goals. You will play a key role in experimentation, including A/B testing of ads and landing pages to maximize conversion outcomes. This is a remote role operating in EST hours, offering exposure to complex B2B marketing programs across diverse industries.

Accountabilities:
  • Build, launch, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy.
  • Write, test, and optimize ad copy to improve CTR, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
  • Manage budgets, bids, and pacing to meet CPA, ROAS, and pipeline targets.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to generate actionable insights and reporting.
  • Execute A/B testing across ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve results.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and tagging using tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, creative, and strategy to optimize performance.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in SEM or paid search campaign management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Solid analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with GA4 or similar web analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and performance marketing principles.
  • Experience in a B2B or agency environment preferred.
  • Google Ads certification strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to landing page optimization and CRO methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and optimization skills.
