  • Translate enterprise-level strategy into actionable portfolio roadmaps, revenue projections, budget recommendations, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor aggregate portfolio performance including P&L outcomes, pricing strategies, launch effectiveness, margin improvement initiatives, and risk management activities.
  • Support and mentor Portfolio Managers by strengthening strategic planning, lifecycle management, governance standards, and execution consistency.

  • Develop and present robust business cases, strategic recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership and decision-makers.
  • Drive portfolio governance processes and ensure disciplined execution of product lifecycle strategies across multiple global product lines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on innovation, operational efficiency, commercial performance, and market competitiveness.
  • Support the alignment of product innovation pipelines with customer needs, business priorities, and evolving market trends.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in portfolio management, product management, commercial strategy, or related senior business leadership roles.
  • Previous experience within food safety, diagnostics, life sciences, manufacturing, or technical B2B industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing P&L performance, pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and margin optimization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead portfolio planning, governance frameworks, lifecycle management, and strategic investment decision-making across multiple product lines.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional collaboration within global or matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex business data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities with experience engaging executive leadership and international teams.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading product or portfolio management professionals is highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively within fast-paced, globally distributed environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom or ability to obtain the necessary work authorization.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote full-time opportunity within the United Kingdom and broader European region.
  • Opportunity to play a high-impact strategic role within a globally recognized Food Safety business.
  • Exposure to international collaboration across commercial, scientific, operational, and technical teams.
  • Professional environment focused on innovation, market insight, strategic growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong career development opportunities within a global and expanding organization.
