Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Entech Computer Services LLC

This role is intended for senior-level engineers only. Candidates without extensive hands-on infrastructure and multi-environment experience will not be considered.

Position Summary

We are looking for a high-level Infrastructure Engineer to join our Managed Services team—someone who operates as a true escalation point and can confidently own complex environments across multiple clients.

This is not a step-up role. This is a seat for an experienced engineer who can design, troubleshoot, and lead across cloud, networking, and core infrastructure—while communicating clearly with both clients and internal teams.

What You'll Do

• Act as the top technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
• Design and support on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot cross-domain issues (server, network, cloud) end-to-end
• Drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions (not just quick fixes)
• Partner directly with clients during high-impact situations
• Mentor engineers and help elevate technical standards across the team

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or enterprise IT
• Strong experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure/AWS)
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO, etc.)
• Solid experience with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Working knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing)
• Proven ability to solve complex, multi-system issues independently
• Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment strongly preferred
