Job Description

Job Summary

The Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other related financial activities.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintains and reviews budgets
  • Prepares monthly financial analysis reports and KPI’s
  • Underwrites and analyzes potential investments
  • Perform daily and monthly Cash Reconciliations
  • Maintains all lender required reserve accounts including tracking balances and preparing draw requests
  • Maintains property tax database for entire portfolio
  • Assists Finance Department with all accounting duties and responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business
  • 1-3 years’ experience of accounting experience, with progressive responsibility
  • Property management industry experience preferred
  • Excellent computer proficiency with a high degree of Microsoft Office skills including Excel
  • Ability to effectively utilize an ERP and/or general ledger system to research and gather data
  • Flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail is critical
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must also be able to work effectively in and with a team environment
  • Ability to be at work regularly and on time

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires extensive computer work
  • Periods of extensive sitting
  • 100% in-office requirement
