Job Description

Custom Castings is a member of the Nordstern Group of Companies, which also includes Protek Surface Technologies, Forte Tooling Technologies, and Sure Cast Aluminum Foundry. We are an integrated, single-source solutions provider delivering consistent, high-quality aluminum permanent mold castings to our customers.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking CNC Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate CNC lathes and CNC Mills safely and efficiently
    • Perform CNC setups (considered an asset)
    • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
    • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
    • Work collaboratively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates

What You Bring:

    • Previous experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to communicate in English (verbal & written)
    • Flexibility with working overtime
    • Previous exposure to a lean manufacturing environment is an asset​​​​​​
