Streamer Department ManagerDepartment Leadership
- Lead and develop the entire Streaming Department through Supervisors and Leads.
- Build a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain an exceptional level of product knowledge.
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold leaders accountable for achieving department goals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations with leadership staff.
- Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans for future leadership positions; as well as underperforming employees who need additional assistance or are not right for the role..
- Oversee daily execution of all live shopping streams.
- Ensure every stream delivers a professional, engaging, and entertaining customer experience.
- Monitor stream quality, accuracy, pacing, energy, product presentation, and overall production standards.
- Resolve operational issues quickly while minimizing disruption to live broadcasts.
- Continuously improve streaming processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Drive department sales through coaching, performance management, and strategic planning.
- Analyze stream performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, and revenue.
- Develop performance standards and KPIs for streamers, supervisors, and assistant supervisors.
- Recognize and reward high performers while addressing performance concerns promptly.
- Review and analyze data on streamer performance, products, and stream performance.
- Coach streamers on sales techniques, audience engagement, product knowledge, professionalism, and on-camera performance.
- Mentor supervisors to become effective leaders capable of coaching and developing their own teams.
- Partner with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, disciplinary actions, performance improvement, and employee development.
- Foster an environment of learning, collaboration, and continuous feedback.
- Work closely with Operations, Inventory, Shipping, Procurement, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to ensure seamless execution of live sales.
- Coordinate product availability and show schedules with inventory and procurement teams.
- Communicate operational priorities and business updates across departments.
- Ensure department compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Maintain staffing plans that support business needs and live show schedules.
- Assist in developing new policies, procedures, and best practices for the streaming department.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
- Maintain a strong floor presence, providing leadership and support throughout the workday.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing multiple levels of employees.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- Experience leading supervisors or managers in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Demonstrated success coaching teams to achieve measurable performance goals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to make confident decisions under pressure.
- Comfortable providing direct, constructive feedback while motivating employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using performance metrics to improve team results.
- Passion for trading cards, collectibles, live selling, or e-commerce is highly preferred.
- Previous live streaming, retail leadership, entertainment, or production management experience is a strong plus.
